Bar Membership Re-Registration

Wednesday, November 7, 2018

Pursuant to Local Rule 12.01(D), all attorneys admitted to the Bar of the Eastern District of Missouri must renew their membership every four years (All attorneys admitted to practice prior to January 1, 2018 must re-register). The purpose of the re-registration is to keep the court's attorney database accurate. To re-register you must first review your personal information below and then follow the attached instructions. The fee for re-registering is $50.00 and the deadline for re-registering is January 31, 2019. Lawyers renewing their registration after January 31, 2019, will be precluded from filing documents with the court but will be able to re-register by paying a late fee of twenty-five dollars ($25.00), in addition to the fifty dollar ($50.00) registration renewal fee. Once re-registered, an attorney's filing privileges will be restored. After March 1, 2019 attorneys who have failed to re-register will be marked as inactive in the court's database and will have to apply for regular admission.
