Through its Criminal Justice Act (CJA) Plan, the Court is seeking applications from attorneys who wish to serve as appointed contract counsel on criminal cases. Attorneys may apply to be members of the CJA Panel or the CJA Mentee Attorney Program depending on experience. The application is now available on the Court's website. 

Any attorney requesting to be a new member of the CJA Panel or CJA Mentee Attorney Program must submit a completed application for membership no later than July 13, 2018.  Applications must be sent to the attention of Clerk of Court Gregory J. Linhares (use either email or postal address below). For those selected, new CJA panel member terms will begin in October. NOTE: Existing CJA Panel attorneys should not reply to this application request. You will be contacted for reapplication separately.
